The thyroid gland, has always been something of a mystery to the general public. Its in an odd, location, around the throat, and its purpose less obvious than others, such as the testes, which produces male hormone such as testosterone.

The thyroid gland is a very important gland as it enables the entire energy system of the body to function properly.
